Preparation before surgery

• Drink plenty of water, at least 2 liters per day.
• After surgery, you can eat normally. Avoid foods that easily cause defecation until the catheter is removed.
• When standing up and walking, slowly stand up and dangle your legs for about 1-2 minutes before walking to prevent dizziness.
• Be careful when stepping up and down stairs and walk slowly and in short steps.
• Do not wear jeans or pants that are too tight.
• Change sanitary pads when they are very wet.
• When taking a shower, it is recommended to sit down and shower, do not stand for a long time to prevent dizziness.
• It is not recommended to use a squatting toilet to reduce the risk of wound separation.

How to take care after surgery
Artificial vaginal dilation (Yangmo)
• Apply Mo S, M, L size for 15 minutes each, 3 times a day
• Morning, noon, evening. Recommendations for the first 3 months: Apply Mo every day, 3 times, for about 15-20 minutes each time.
• After 3 months, apply Mo 2 times a day, morning and evening (if you notice that your vagina is starting to tighten, you can change to apply Mo 3 times a day as appropriate).
Exterior cleaning
• Use antibacterial soap or mild soap, do it 2 times a day, morning and evening while taking a shower.
• After urinating every time, wash with clean water and pat dry from front to back (do not rub the stitched wound). Use a cotton swab or cotton swab to check along the outer labia after taking a shower every time.
Postoperative complications
• Wound separation The lower part of the outer labia is often very tight. It may separate after surgery. It can heal on its own within 1 month without having to stitch the wound again. • Inability to urinate or little urine output. This symptom may occur after the removal of the urinary catheter due to swelling around the urethra. • Bleeding and foul odor. During the first 1-14 days after opening the wound, there may be bleeding from the urethra. If there is bleeding, use gauze or sanitary pads to press on the bleeding area.
